    Hi!
I have a problem I experienced only lately. My site is under development, so I’m using he maintenance mode of the plugin. The problem is now that if I access name.com/wp-admin I always get the maintenance page and not the login page. I have to go through cpanel, disable the plugin and login into my site. If I disable maintenance mode everything works fine – I get the normal login page.

    Can you please help?

    Thanks,
    Eddiee

Hi, do you have the following feature Enable Front-end Lockout: enabled?

Yes, I have it. My site needs to be in maintenance mode, but I also need to login.
Now, I discovered a workaround – I go to name.com/wp-login.php and there is the login page, but wp-admin still doesn’t work.

Hi, I just carried out a test myself and that is how it is currently set up.

Did you by any chance enable the Rename Login Page under Brute Force tab? I am just curious?

    Thank you

No, it is not enable. And it seems that other people encounter the same problem.

    Still no solution?

    Thank you!

Hi, I have submitted a message to the plugin developers to investigate this issue further.

    Thank you

    Hi @eddiee,
What you described is not an issue but exactly as it is supposed to work.

You are supposed to be able to access only wp-login.php or the secret login page if it is hidden. Anything else should not be accessible to someone who is “logged out” when the site is in maintenance mode.

Hey guys, seems like the problem still persist in the latest version. It is quite tedious to login under maintenance mode. ;(

Hi @tzshng, this thread is marked as resolved. Can you open up a new support thread.

    Thank you
