Login only with email and password – no username. Is this possible?

  • Hi, thanks for this great plugin.
    My question is simple I want to use as login credits only the email address and the password of the user. Both for already registered users and for new ones.

    How can I remove the username field and ask only for the email (the one that the user used to create an account on my page) to login?
