    Dear Sirs,

    Please, i′m getting an error when trying to access via Edge… after typing user and pass, i get this message:

    But when trying via Chrome, all works fine…

    What could be?

    Hi Tony,

    The TFA code isn’t checked in the browser, but on the server side – so, the browser shouldn’t come into it at all (there’s no code that is browser-dependent). Are you sure you didn’t just enter the wrong code? That’s what the error message is saying happened.

    Probably the time on the device you are using to generate the OTP codes disagrees slightly from the time of the webserver that the website you’re logging into is on. The OTP protocol, which generates a different code every 30 seconds, relies upon the two sides agreeing on the current time. You can check the time on the webserver by reading it on the top of the TFA site settings page.

    Or, if you’re on your TFA setup page, you can note the sequences of codes shown there, and note the sequence of codes shown on your device – write the two down for 2-3 minutes. From that sequence you should see what the time difference is.
