Login Loop

    I have been changing everything over to https and this was the last step to check for any links etc that still used http, and replace them over to https. I ran the plugin dry and found an assortment of things that needed changing, so I ran the plugin live. Now I get the admin login loop. Any ideas or should I just replace the db.

  • Can you copy and paste the url that it’s occurring?

    Sometimes you can tell what needs to be fixed by seeing what the “redirect_to” variable is in the login URL when it’s looping.

    Thanks but unfortunately I just reloaded the database from a backup and got things squared away again. I think it’s possible I was too overly aggressive with the plugin, looking back I probably should have just chosen the tables that showed fixes in the dry run, where instead I just ran all the tables. I thought maybe you had seen this issue before and had dealt with it. Sorry I cant help you troubleshoot it, if I run it again I’ll get back with you with the details.. Thanks!

    Glad you got it resolved. To me it sounded like there was just a mismatch in the urls, often an easy fix but hard to tell without that additional info.
