    Hi
    I have – I think some configuration issues – with the A5login:
    https://adoptforlife.wpengine.com

The site is set up to have a couple of first level pages plus a logon link to membership content. The first page should just be available without having to log in. A menu item links to a custom login page that allows clients to access the membership content.

However when I just enter the URL without /wp-admin I’m forced to logon.
Once I logon as a client to stay in the front end I cannot get back to the dashboard anymore.

If you would like to try, the client login is:
    julia
    Design2014
This works for both login pages.

Hope that makes sense and you have some tips how to clean this up.
    Thanks!
    Julia

    Oh sorry Julia,

I tried out some stuff yesterday and forgot to post about it. Usually this is the busiest time of the year and I can’t really spend time on my plugins.

But if you could export your settings of the A5 custom login plugin and tell me what membership plugin you use, I could try to figure out something on my testing environment.

Hi Thanks for getting back to me even though you’re busy! I’ve been stuck at this place for a while, not sure if the plugins I use might cause these errors:

Please see the site at https://adoptforlife.staging.wpengine.com/

    1. The site should just open > not true, login screen opens

    2. Clients can login using the login menu item > true, secure content page opens
    3. Users logout > not true because of the following

    4. adding admin to the URL allows access to the Dashbaord > not true – adding “admin” only goes back to the secure content page. It is as if I never logged out…

You can login on the client level:
    julia
    Design2014

I don’t know how to export the login settings. Can you email me so I can give you temporary access to the dash board?

I really appreciate your help and any suggestions on how to build this. Even if I have to start from scratch…time sensitive deadline of course…

the membership plugins I use are “Add Multiple Users” and “Members”.

I also use “BAW” to create a login link in the mnenu and “User Login Log” to track users.

    THX!

    Hi Julia,

you export the settings in the ‘General Options’ tab with the button ‘Export & Download A5 Custom Login Page Settings File’.

It will create a file with the settings that can be imported into other installations of the plugin.
