Login logo missing

The logo is at harmonieoefening.nl/wp-admin/images/wordpress-logo.svg,
but it isn’t being rendered. I think it used to be a .gif or a .png image.

I wonder of there is something odd in your server config that isn’t allowing the svg mime type.

Mine is missing as well. I’m glad you posted this; at first I thought it was just me.

I have sent an email to my web host to check if the problem is in the settings of the server. I hope they will have a solution.

I think that hosting doesnt support .svg files.

Yup appears to be a problem on rackspace too. I ran across this and am still testing it out as a change to the .htaccess file.

AddType image/svg+xml svg

We have 2 self-hosted multisite installs, and since the 3.8 upgrade, our login logo has also been missing. When I inspect the element in firebug, it reports that the image URL failed to load.

You have to add the MIME Type for .svg > image/svg+xml to the server itself. If the server is old it doesn’t have this image MIME Type.

Same thing on Windows servers.

@karenalenore Thanks! I had two installations, one working the other not. turns out, the one working had old W3 Total cache settings in .htacces. After I updated them manually the svg didn’t render. But adding AddType image/svg+xml svg at the end of .htaccess did the trick.
