login link change

but from front end subscribers cant find the url when the click on Login link it takes them to login.php with 404 error.

If you are referring to the secret login URL, you don’t want users to know the secrete login URL to login from the front of your website.

Thanks for reply no I just want Everyone to be able to login.

Go to website thedailypao.com when you click on login you will get error. It wont look good any one going to website and unable to login.

And I have changed the wordpress login link from thedailypao.com/wp-admin/ to thedailypao.com/thedailypao-admin/

Whenever user comes on website thedailypao.com click on Login the should be directed to thedailypao.com/thedailypao-admin/ so that they can Login or even register and Forgot Password.

Hi Vicky, yes you will receive a 404 error message because the following URL thedailypao.com/wp-login.php does not exist anymore. This is due to the fact that you have set up one of the Brute Force page renaming features.

Now here is where your dilemma is. If you want to use the Brute Force feature then you will also need to add the secrete name to the login on the front end. This would defy the purpose of having this security set up.

You are going to have to decide something in regards to your login.

Hi Vicky, unfortunately no. There is no option in this plugin to achieve your goal.

If the login you have in your website is simply to allow members to view your site then why don’t you use a membership plugin?

What Can I do to make it back to the way it was if in Admin Panel if I again make the Link to wp-admin will it solve.

Because I don’t see it correct solution for correcting the URL Install different Plugin.

Hi Vicky, I did not mean to install a different plugin. What I meant is to install a membership plugin but still use this security plugin.

However if you don’t want to use a membership plugin because of various reasons, then the only solution is to disable the Brute Force rename login. That way you will be able to use wp-admin.php or wp-login.php files again.

Hi Vicky, no you don’t have to rename it. All you have to do is remove what ever secret word you typed in the Brute Force rename feature.
