    Hello,

First and foremost, thank you for developing such a useful plugin.

I’ve encountered a bug related to the “Link social account to already existing account if the email address matches” option in your plugin. I’ve observed that this feature works seamlessly with Google and WordPress social logins. However, when a user attempts to log in using their Dribbble account, the process encounters an issue.

Specifically, after attempting to log in via Dribbble, a popup appears with the notification “Please enter a valid email address. You might be required to verify it.” This suggests that, in the case of Dribbble logins, the email address isn’t successfully matching with the one already registered.

Please investigate and provide a solution for this issue with Dribbble logins. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be highly appreciated.

Thank you for your time and attention.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the appreciation ??
Some social networks do not provide email address of the user along with other profile data, such as Dribbble. If you have checked the Email required checkbox in the Advanced Configuration section, plugin prompts the user using Dribbble login (or any other social network that doesn’t provide email address) to provide their email address. If a user enters an email address that is associated to an already registered user at your website, it won’t accept it otherwise someone could enter email address of another user at the website and get it linked to their account.
So, if a user wants to link Dribbble to an exisiting account at your site, they can do so via Social Account Linking section at the user-profile page of your website.

    Hi,

Thank you for the prompt response and for clarifying the behavior. I’ll explore the workaround you provided for users wanting to link their Dribbble account to an existing account.

    Thanks again for your assistance.
