    Hi,

I ran into a problem lately – almost sure that pre 3 it was working well. I used some script to redirect to a course dashboard after login. The problem is that after a successful checkout I get the message that the page is only available to members.

I suspect that it is some clash between WP “user” and PMPRO “member”.

    Any idea?

Hi there, thank you for reaching out to the Paid Memberships Pro team.

Please send me the code you have been using to handle this redirect so that I can look further into this for you?

Hi Jarryd, it isn’t a script per se – I used Admin and Site Enhancements (ASE) plugin > Login/Logout > Redirect after login option.

The idea is to redirect only “simple” users (i.e. not admins) to the course dashboard.

Is there somehow in your recipes / documentation an alternative? (I had to do quite a lot of work after the massive updates to PMPRO lately – some of the recipes I used aren’t working any more, so it really isn’t clear where to look.

    Thanks in advance!

Thank you for your feedback. You mentioned that after checking out, you get the message that the page is only available to members.

Would you mind sending me a screenshot of this? Are you still landing on the Membership Confirmation page when this happens?

    Kind Regards,

    Hi Jarryd,

I don’t land on the Confirmation page. Instead I get this:

I also tried to use your “member homepage addon” that I found in github – it is working, but the problem is that the course dashboard page does not appear on the list of available pages to act as a homepage. Is there a way to manually add a page/post ID or url into the script?

Please edit your Membership Confirmation page and ensure that it doesn’t require a membership level to access it?

The Member Homepages Add On is a commercial plugin and cannot be supported on these forums. If you have any other questions about this please reach out to us directly on https://paidmembershipspro.com/contact

An alternative would be to hook into the pmpro_confirmation_url filter and set your URL from there (https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/hook/pmpro_confirmation_url/)
