    Hi,

I’ve been experiencing an issue while logging in for the last two weeks.
This message is displayed “Error: Cookies are blocked due to unexpected output.”

In the debug log, the error is
“PHP Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent in wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1077”. The line in pluggable.php is “setcookie( $auth_cookie_name, $auth_cookie, $expire, PLUGINS_COOKIE_PATH, COOKIE_DOMAIN, $secure, true );”

I created a staging site and I’m unable to recreate the issue. I think it’s related to siteground optimizer as caching is not enabled on the staging site.

If I wait 5-10 minutes and try again, I can login successfully.

    Regards,

    Conor Scott

    Hello @conors37,

The error does not seem related to the SiteGround Optimizer plugin. Please clear the server-side cache from Site Tools > Speed > Caching and test again. If the issue still persists, you can post a new ticket from your SiteGround User Area so we can investigate the case further.

    Best Regards,
    Dimitar Petrov
