    Hello; happy new year everyone.
I have this issue since this morning. I logged in easily, changed my contact email address, add an extension wp-better-security.
All seemed fine and i even get a message telling me all was in order.
Then i realize my site wasn’t secured to i checked with web host ( ovh) and we asked for a ssl certificate.

Later on maybe 20 minutes later I tried to connect to my admin console to post some articles and if my email address and password are still required, which is normal, i also have a message telling me to hover or click the text box below.
Thing I did, but i don’t get any access granted.
I checked the cookies and cleared them all.
    same results no access..
I’m quite anxious what should I do
Thanks in advance for your help

  • What’s the error message you’re getting?

Does your web host use Cpanel? If yes, do you know how to access your site’s Cpanel?

Actually the error message is that i’ve got an error captcha.
But the thing is I cannot even see it in the first place

    Oops!

Access your site via FTP and delete the security plugin you installed.

If you have access to Cpanel, login and go to file manager – public_html – wp-contents – plugins and locate the wp-security plugin folder and delete it.

    Thanks.
How do I do that ? Access my site via FTP.
I’m no webmaster i’m more a web disaster ol
My web site host told me I need to redirect my url from http to https one i’m in the control panel

Yes, access via FTP or via Cpanel if your web host supports Cpanel.

You can use an FTP client like FileZilla.

To check if your web host supports Cpanel, visit yourdomain/cpanel and you should see a login page. Login with your Cpanel details.

    Thanks
Now this is what is requested from me
To force redirection from HTTP to HTTPS, you must activate the SSL option from your module’s interface.

You can also set up a URL rewrite in the .htaccess file in the installation folder of your site by inserting the lines of code below:
