Login Form Width Doesn’t Change

I have been trying to figure out why the login form goes the full length of the page content. I have two login form and both forms width goes the width of the content. Both login form have set max width (280px and 300px) but it seems to not even acknowledge the width set for the login forms. Could use some assistance with this issue.
