Login form does not work

Hi,

when I try and use the login form that is displayed on the private pages, the page redirects to wp-login but shows the following error:

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

If I try and login on the normal login page wp-admin it works fine. Just when trying through the form that is shown as part of Page Restrict. So it is not failing due to the reasons listed in the error message.

Is there some other setting I need or a reason for this?
