I’ve added a login box to a page, but need to only show the password field for users to fill, and hide the username (which will need to be sent as a predefined value).

I am trying filling the “Default Value” field in the username field of the form with the default value but it’s not working (ie. not prefilling the field).

I added a new text field to test and it works fine there…

Any ideas on how I can achieve what I need?

    Thank you for any tips!

    Hi @nano09

Unfortunately, this requires customization on your end if you want to hide the username and generate them automatically. Setting a default value will fail validation if the value is already in use.

Thought you might like to know.
I found another plugin that can create a login form and can also take predefined values for both fields username and password. (wpforms)
It would be aweseome to have this feature within ultimate member ??
