    Hello,
I am a WordPress newbie, so my questions are very basic. We are a private club. All members are pre-registered. We want our members to login our website in order to view/book events. Visitors not login will not see the events. My question is: Is there a feature or function in Paid Membership Pro that does that? If yes, how can this be done? Is there a logout function that goes with the login feature?
If answer is no, where else I should look?
    Thanks in advance.

Sorry, my earlier question is related to Paid Membership Pro. i.e. does PMPro have the login and logout features?

    Hi @francoc30

Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro.

You may be able to use the Paid Memberships Pro Events Add On which is available on www.remarpro.com to restrict events for non-members.

What login/logout features are you currently looking for? By default Paid Memberships Pro treats logged-out users/visitors as non-members.

I hope this helps get you started.

    Hi Andrew,
    I’ll try out the add-on.
For login/logout, I would like to have a menu item for members to click to logon. Once logon, the other members-only menu and pages are then displayed for logged on members. Non-members would not see these pages and or menu items. In other words, all members-only pages/posts would be hidden rather then just restricted for non-members.

I would like to see the login status somewhere on the menu bar and also offer a one click log out function. If Edit Profile is part of it that would be even better.

    Thanks in advance.

You may use a plugin like Theme My Login or similar to achieve login/logout buttons and pages for your site. There are quite a few plugins that already do this on www.remarpro.com.

We do have the Nav Menus Add On that may adjust the navigation menu items based on a user’s membership level which may be useful for you.

I hope this helps get you started.
