    Hello,

I’ve update the last Customizr version, everything was ok until I quite and tried to login again. The Worpress login doesn’t recognize the user name nor the password, so the WordPress automatic password change mail cannot be send from WordPress to my mail address.
I’ve changed the password, looking at the previous topics, on the data base via PHP-admin, no luck, with emergency php, doesn’t work either, changing the name of the Plugins folder, it seems that nothing work.

Why WordPress cannot recognize the user name or my mail address anymore? It looks ok on the database, the site is ok, but cannot log in to work on.

    Would anyone have an idea?

    Best wishes,

  • Via FTP, rename your current theme directory. This should switch you to the default theme, so you can exclude there being anything in your theme that’s doing it.

    Thank you ElectricFeet,
I did this but have a blank page, WordPress doesn’t switch to twentyfourteen.
Is there a script to force WordPress to switch template?

    Best wishes

Sounds like it’s a bigger problem than Customizr, then. I’d ask your hosts if they can help.

    Thank you ElectricFeet,

I found out that the problem was that the upload_max_filesize written in the PHP.ini was above the allowed max size by WordPress (2000M?).

I’ve no idea why that has any connexion with the login, but it does.

Thanks to djathomson, and his question/self-reply posted 5 years ago “yet-another-cannot-login”, I did put the size down in the php.ini, and now it does work nicely. I can indeed login to the admin.

Thank you again, I hope that the above can help anyone else.

    Bien à vous…
