    Problems logging in.

I have reset the password, which works on www.remarpro.com, but when I try to login to my site I get “incorrect username or password.”

Not sure what to do! any help would be appreciated.

  • The login and password for www.remarpro.com has nothing to do with de login and password used on your website. So you must set them separately.

When I go to login in as admin, a WordPress login page comes up

The accounts here and the accounts on your site are not connected in anyway. Resetting the password here does nothing for your account on your own system. Don’t try and reset it here, it won’t do anything for you.

If you cannot log into your own site then you may need to reset the password there.

That article will show you methods for resetting your password when the usual methods don’t work.

Are you using admin as a username? This is not very wise and once you get back into your dashboard you need to create another Administrator account with a strong password.

Logout then log back in with the new account and delete the admin account. Hackers are only one step away from getting into your website i.e. guessing the password as they already know now your username.
