“login failed” / spam

  • Hello!

    We have installed the plugin in the free version and we have noticed that there are many attempts to register with the action “login failed” and author admin or guest. IPs change and look malicious.

    We have recaptcha installed. Can we rest assured that the site is protected or should we do something?

    Hello again!

    We have installed the “WPS Hide Login” plugin to change the login URL.
    It seems that many malicious intents as ADMIN are no longer showing up, but there are still intents from the author GUEST.

    It is useless to have changed the URL because we continue to have malicious attempts from the ADMIN author.

    Yes, You are correct, i have also faced this issue, like many login failed in multiple inactive roles and active roles with different usernames, it looks like bruteforce, i have started reviewing this plugin and also i will like to report this into wordpress
