    Greetings developers!

I have an error when try to login:

    Login Failed!
You entered an invalid username or password.

I saw in other topics that disabling installed caching plugin helps but I am not using any caching plugins. Instead of this I am using WPEngine hosting which includes server caching by default which can’t be disabled. Also I don’t want to disable caching at all.

There are should be other way to solve this problem. Please help me!

If you are using any type of captcha on the backend login (wp-login.php), that will cause it to fail. You’ll either need to not use that or work around it.

Caching generally is not a problem with the login, although if it is improperly configured, it can cause an issue with registration which could result in a bad password. You can check/test any password through the backend login as well. If it works there, you have a valid password and this is not the issue. But if it does not, then I would look into issues with either object cache settings or db cache settings.

Many thanks Chad! The problem exist because of captcha on the login page.

    I don’t have captcha and I’m getting:

    Login Failed!

You entered an invalid username or password.
