    Hi,

I used this plugin without any problems until today (I don’t know what happened, but I frenquently ative/desative/save settings) and now my login doesn’t work if I chane the wp-admin or admin-ajax.php paths. But before, I changed all these 3 and worked well (I could make the login without any problem!):
    wp-admin
    wp-login
    admin-ajax.php

I really don’t know why the login (click button “Login”->redirect to same page logged in) doesn’t work if I change wp-admin or admin-ajax.php! What is causing this?

Also I tried to restore backups since last time everything was working, but didn’t solve!

Hi, can you check if there was an update from another plugin that might cause the error?
Try to deactivate the other plugins and see if there is a conflict with one of them.

Please check the .htaccess file to have the HMWP rules and after you saved the settings in HMWP you can change the permissions to read-only to prevent other plugins from removing the rewrites.

Try also to switch on Hide My WP > Advanced > Clean Login to remove other actions on the login redirect.

Let me know if you managed to make it work.

    Best, John

@johndarrel I fixed it by restoring to a previous backup.

But now I have another problem. I have 2 servers with the same website. In first website I use the custom “wp-admin” as “mod” and the other the same, but in the second website I can’t login. When I click login it doesn’t redirects me/nothing happens. It’s strange because it works ok in the first website and they are EXACTLY the same (I migrate the website). So in the second website I need to use the default “wp-admin” so that the logins can work.

What should be the problem? Can I send you the details of the 2 websites so you can check what is affecting the second website?

    Thank you!

    Hi @biqu3,

If you use the Clean Login option from Hide My WP > Advanced > Clean Login?

This option was created to remove the other login redirects.
If the custom admin is not working, it is probably because another plugin is forcing the wp-admin redirect without letting the option for customization.

Did you also try deactivating the other plugins to identify which plugin is not letting you customize wp-admin?

    John
