Login disappears too quickly

Is there a way to remove the hover function on the login in the top bar? We would like it to be an on-click that remains open until submit is activated. Would this be your plugin, an HB HighEnd theme, or a WordPress issue?
The issue is (my boss says) that the login disappears too quickly after selecting the remembered login & pw, and would wish it to remain open in order to select the login button.
