ok, I suspect it is because you have the login box ticked on the assign groups to roles. I added this is the last revision.

I may have a logic error, or it may be that you need to set it up differently.

Firstly can you do a quick test, and unclick this login box, and then retest if you still have the issue?

Sorry to go silent on you Robin. I approached the problem from another angle and deactivated your plugin and had my head down in making that work. I’ll get back to you if I find time to recreate conditions and the glitch. Thanks for your attention.
