• Hello, this may be more of a question than a problem at the moment. I just attempted to login through my wp-login.php and I receive the following message: You have reached the login attempts limit. Please try again in 60 minutes.
Does this indicate that someone was trying to hack in and now I am locked out because of it? I have been having to login this way because the wp-admin is not working for me and I am still trying to figure that one out.
Anyway, any opinion or knowledge on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Martha

which plugin are you using to limit the login attempts?

Yes this could be an attempt to access your site, If you still cannot access your site use FTP and disable the plugin that limits the login attempts by adding .hold to the particular plugin folder. That should disable that plugin temporarily (rename it back once your in your dashboard and reactivate it).

I think it is called Cerber but my husband, who understands FTP and HTML was able to find out the wp-admin 404 error. It ended up, well so far, being a plugin that I deleted out.
