• I’m using the ‘Hide Backend’ function for my site, & the address is reasonable obscure (numbers & special characters), yet fairly soon after changing I start to get failed logins from definitely dodgy users.
How are they finding the address, & how can I stop this?

  • This has been an increasing pain with me as well. More and more, hackers are able to access this. Last night and today, I’ve been getting hacking attempts about every 15-30 minutes.

I’ve even reset my wp-admin backend slug today to something completely obscure, like:

    https://www.mydomain.com/h5Fx_1qP054-iBzxO32q34

But hackers are still able to access this and make login attempts as “admin.”

    What gives?
