login and activation errors

    As far as I can tell, this worked a week ago, and I have no idea what my client changed to break the site.

    When the plugin is activated, two things happen. I get a warning in the plugin page:

    The plugin generated 4 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.

    And then when i go to wp-login.php, i get these errors: 

    Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/50/7477350/html/wp-content/plugins/simple-lightbox/model.php:2820) in /home/content/50/7477350/html/wp-login.php on line 362

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/50/7477350/html/wp-content/plugins/simple-lightbox/model.php:2820) in /home/content/50/7477350/html/wp-login.php on line 374

    and a login form. if I log in, I get these:

    Hmmm, I’m not sure what’s going on either but it appears that the version of SLB you have is not the official one.

    My suggestion would be to access the site via FTP and delete Simple Lightbox from the plugins folder manually. Once you’ve done that, you should be able to log in and reinstall the official version of SLB from WordPress’ plugins directory.
