    Hi
I am using a theme called ‘MyListing’ which has ‘woocommerce’ built in. The site has a woocommerce login which doesn’t seem to give user permission to post blogs. At the moment, it seems the user would have to have two separate logins if they want to use blogs and have a woocommerce account. Is there a way to integrate blogging in to the woocommerce account ? As an additional bonus it would be great if the account could show the users blogs as well
    Thanks and kind regards

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Nice to hear it was genuine Mirko and cudos for marking the topic as resolved after your PR comment which happened to be the 15th comment; the limit on each page of a WP thread, so people are less likely to scroll to the next page and see nothing but your caring responses

This isn’t a development issue developers can fix as you know, this is a commercial issue.

The point is again I think Woocommerce are manipulating developers to exploit consumers by charging small business for basic plugins needed for a secure and functional marketplace, such as recaptcha and notification emails.

Woocommerce already has the technology, developers cant fix that only corporate decision makers can make them freely available and in turn support small businesses.

My point is PMP offer all of those basic features and more for free bundled in with their e-commerce platform.

I appreciate Woocommerce are more focused on a shopping cart marketplace but you also try to steel market share in the subscription based marketplaces but Woocommerce not only charge $199 p.a. for that luxury there is then a list of even more plugins needed just to achieve a platform that is completely free with PMP.

If you want a shopping cart for retail customers then yes maybe woocommerce is more tailored to this, so maybe PMP integration with Woocommerce is the way forward. It should be noted though that the only plugin I’ve found for this is another ‘FREE’ one developed by PMP.

Theoretically it should save the consumer loads of money but I don’t know how well it works and whether woocommerce have actually collaborated with PMP in good intent and the consumer in mind to ensure those savings offered by PMP can actually be achieved.

I don’t want to waste either of our time keeping this going so there will be a resolved notice on the first page meaning people are less likely to see these comments but unfortunately this exercise has done nothing to change my opinion of Woocommerce’s strategy or my plan to do everything I can to avoid woocommerce’s charges and I am finding ways around that.
