  • Using 2.6.5 I am having two issues. First, when going to /wp-admin I get redirected to wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fmyblogurl.com%2Fwp-admin%2F

    It will then say my password is wrong, even if I reset it or change it via phpmyadmin. If I go to /wp-admin from the weird url above, it will log me in.

    The 2nd problem revolves around one post: https://tinyurl.com/574p6o

    The post loads until comments section should, and then stops loading. I talked to the disqus folks and they don’t think it is a problem on their end (it only doesn’t load on one post).

    for your first issue,The url is not weird at all.It is just containing the redirection url.
    If you want a clean url try
    yourblog.com/wp-login.php

    And to reset password did you select md5 function from functions field while updating the password.Try a text password with function field selected as md5,and it will allow you to login.
    For second,I am not familiar with disqus,so may not help you.

    Hey,

    Thanks for the reply.

    If I go to any of the url’s, I get the forward, this is different that it has been in the past.

    With the reset password, I did select md5 from the dropdown.

    I’m trying to figure out why the bugs are there, or if there is a conflict with a plugin or a setting.
