• hello, using the property_overview shortcode is it possible to search for subdivision=”Valley View” OR subdivision=”River Crest”?

    example: [property_overview subdivision=”Valley View”,”River Crest”]

I have tried structuring this several different ways and I am unable to get the proper search results.

Does the wp-property property_overview shortcode support this?

  • Hello,

Yes, you can do this using types, attributes and terms, so just make sure that you have created your subdivisions in the developer tab and use this cheat-sheet to create shortcodes: https://www.usabilitydynamics.com/product/wp-property/docs/wp-property-shortcode-cheatsheet

    Hope that helps!

I have read that page and I see a logical OR example and a range example:

    [property_overview bathrooms=1,3 bedrooms=2-4]

In the Developer Tab subdivision is searchable and is Free Text Data Entry.

Neither of the following property_overview shortcode examples return properties from both subdivisions.

    [property_overview subdivision=”Valley View”,”River Crest”]

    [property_overview subdivision=”Valley View” subdivision=”River Crest”]

What I would like is all properties that are either in the Valley View subdivision OR in the River Crest subdivision.

    How do I accomplish this?

    Hello,

Make sure that “Subdivision” is a term, add types to it… like View Crest. Once that is done, make sure that all your properties are assigned a subdivision, and only after you can use that shortcode.

I just tried the shortcode and it worked for me when I made those steps ??
