Logout fails

  • Hello,

    When a user has a certain role the user can login to the website.
    But when they logout, the page refreshing correct. Showing the login link in the menu.
    That is good, but when i go to another page. The user is logged in again. So it seems.
    In the menu de logout button appears again? I think the session is not closing. Where should i look. Al latest versions are installed.

    Long story short, signing out is not working.
    Is their a way to force the logout, or a special link to be used?

    Hi @nielsvriesde,

    Do you have any caching plugins installed or server side caching active on your site e.g Memcached, Varnish cache or CloudFlare?
    Please exclude Ultimate member pages from the cache and see if it helps.
    Please also check your logout page in Ultimate member -> Settings -> General -> Pages and make sure that you have correct logout page assigned.

    I am having a similar problem where upon Logout, it redirects to the Logout page but it is just a blank screen after I had updated from V1 to latest V2. All caches had been cleared and still does it.
