• Hi. I’m just wondering if there’s an alternate way to log into my blog (as opposed to going to my blog page, and clicking Log In).

The reason I ask is that I’m going to be using a Stats plugin to monitor traffic, but am concerned that it’ll count my own visits (which are frequent).

I understand that WordPress.Stats does not count logged in visitors, but I would think that it still registers the intial hit when I go to the page to then click on Log In (giving me ‘false’ visit readings, since they still include my first hit each visit).

    Unless I’m misunderstanding it…

Can anyone fill me in on this? BTW, this is using the .org version of WordPress, but I’m assuming they both opperate the same, seeing as the Stats seem to be monitored using WordPress.com in both cases.

    Thanks in advance…

  • The only way to bookmark your login page on your browser and login directly.

Here is the link (change to ur site name)
    https://yoursite.com/wp-login.php

So that it won’t count your visit to home page.

Yep, that would work. I guess there’s no way for the stat counter to know that it’s you until you log in, so I guess that’s the only way to do it.

    Thanks Simon
