Logging me off and WP Failure Notice

  • I’ve searched the forums and see this is a problem many folks have had back 10 years. This is not a new problem for me but was looking in the wrong places for answers. I’ve worked thru some of the solutions but need more help.

    I’ve deactivated the plug ins and re-activated them. Yes, it happened when some were deactivated but because the log off is so erratic, I’m not sure I would know if the plug in was the problem. The logging off is sometimes (not always) coupled with a WordPress Failure Notice.

    I’ve double checked to be sure the URLs were the same.

    Another solution I read about was clearing cookies and caches. I’m not sure how to do this without clearing ones that I really wanted. If this is the solution that others have found, could someone walk me thru this, please?

    FINALLY figured out how to delete cookies and clear the cache, but….I’m still experiencing this logging off and failure notice. I was hopeful this would take care of it, but no luck.

    Any other suggestions or known fixes?
