Logging In User Experience

When my users log in, the page they land on is their profile page on the site. I would rather they go to the site home page. Can you help direct me to where I can set what their start page is after logging in?

While it is not possible to change the page the customers land when they log in by default, the?Redirect After Login, Registration, and Logout?extension can help you achieve this.

WooCommerce.com offers a 30-day refund policy which you can take advantage of, allowing you to test the extension, and make sure that it is what you are looking for.

You can also achieve this with custom code.

I am also using the Lite Start plugin to put the site behind a Coming Soon page until we launch. The users are logging in at the usual /wp-admin page…I’m hoping to guide/change where they land after that log in.

These users are people added to your website, not customers, correct?

Where do you want them to land when they log in?

Did the Lite Start plugin change the page they land?

Thanks much for the recommendation! It didn’t cross my mind to look for a plug-in to accomplish this. This will work just fine.
