    Hi guys,

I’m really new at this and struggling how to resolve this issue!
I was able to set up my site using WP, everything was going really well updating posts and images etc. Although now when I try to load my WP I get the following error:

    404 Not Found
The requested URL /shop/jewellery/wp-login.php was not found on this server.
    Apache/2 Server at https://www.clairelouise-jewellery.co.uk Port 80

I’m not entirely sure what this means and do not know where to go from here. My correct URL is above and should not include ‘/jewellery’ so I am really confused where this has come from!

When I try to view my site, it loads but not to the theme or information I included – https://www.clairelouise-jewellery.co.uk/shop and when trying to click on any link I did create I am only taken to a further error.

I did try using FTP and unlocking this for a short while with my hosting, however it failed to load the site to even enter in my username and password to access it from this point.

Is there anyone that can please help me?

Your host says your domain and hosting are now linked. Click on your domain (https://www.clairelouise-jewellery.co.uk/). That is start afresh, it seems. If your site was already running, ask your host for support.

As my domain name and hosting are linked, they don’t see an error.

The URL I use to make changes and update my site is https://www.clairelouise-jewellery.co.uk/shop/wp-admin

I have no problem logging in to my control panel with my host but I can’t login to my WP admin to be able to make any changes to the site itself. Is there anyway I can start fresh with WP, reload my theme so that when I enter my URL https://www.clairelouise-jewellery.co.uk/shop you are actually taken through to a working site?

    Thank you!

While clicking on your wp-admin link, I get Error establishing a database connection.
Can access your hosting control panel and see if your wp-config.php file has the correct database name, database username, database password and MySQL hostname? That will solve the problem and you can login to your dashboard.

    Hi guys,
Like some of the members above, I worked on my site and even updated it twice. But like some other poor souls above, I seem to be in deep, deep water !!! I can’t even find my site–nevermind working with it or even ‘login’. I get new Passwords after new Passwords! But do I get anywher; do I heck !!! There must be an easier way! Can any one help!
    Thank You!
