logging in errors

  • Hi, I am trying to access my website and it is giving me errors that

    ERROR: The password you entered for the username admin is incorrect. Lost your password?

    When asked to retrieve a new password I get email stating the following, but no link to reset.

    Someone requested that the password be reset for the following account: https://tpitropicalescapes.ca/ Username: admin If this was a mistake, just ignore this email and nothing will happen. To reset your password, visit the following address:

    Please advise how to reset as I entered the correct user/password to begin with. thank you !

    The methods there will permit you to change/reset the password without needing a working WordPress dashboard login.

    I am sorry but what Admin Panel menu,would this be referring too?

    I have a Lamoon – Responsive WordPress Theme and I log in thru the word press associated with it. so I am not sure how to change it.
    can you point me in the right direction for this. thanks

    You’ll need to have access to your site files on the server or to your database via PHP MyAdmin – so ask your hosting company for help with that.
