When we try to login with Clef, it goes through all the motions and that all works just fine, but then when it puts them back on the page, they are still not logged in, and have to do it all over again.

The site is GeeksLife.com. I only have this on for admins currently because I wanted to test it extensively before I added it for all members. I am glad I did it this way, or people would no longer be able to login to the site.

Thanks in advance! I think this thing has a LOT of potential!

    Hi impartialgeek,

I’m sorry for the delayed reply. Based on your description and on taking a look at the site, there could be a theme and/or plugin compatibility issue here. If you are using WooCommerce, it could be that changing the redirect will solve the issue. If the theme you are using re-writes the default login hooks, that can cause Clef to fail to log in.

You can test by temporarily deactivating WooCommerce and trying a Clef login; then if it still is not working, temporarily switch to a default theme such as twentysixteen and try a Clef login again.

If it is a theme issue, unfortunately the only solution currently is to kindly ask the theme developer to add support for the default login hooks.
