• Every time a user logs out, the “you must loggin to comment” page returns distorted: there are broken white patches on the page and the right side bar is pushed below the fold. I’ve read many forum entries with similar error and most state this is a CSS issue, but this problem only exists on this one page, so by adjusting page dimensions in the css I’t will be effecting all (I tried anyway, to no avail). I also removed all the sidebar widgets, no help. I looked at this page in several different browsers/versions (I’m currently on IE8) and it appears different on all (yet looks fine in Firefox). Any suggestions on how to fix? — thanks. The template is Zinepress.

  • You could start by sorting out some of the 55 validation errors on your single post pages.

    Thanks esmi — great tool.

I managed to eliminate all the errors and received a passed rating but still having the problem. The “you must be logged in to post a comment” message/link is aligned right and pushing down the right sidebar. Any ideas what could be causing this? – thanks.

I just tested your site using IE8 in normal and compatibility mode, and could not duplicate the results pictured in your screen-shot. The page displayed fine in FF3, and IE8.

Actually, the page did show some improvement after I elimated a number of errors. Yet the page always displayed perfectly in Firefox, even with the errors. And I have IE8 on both my desk and lap and this is what I’m seeing, the same problem on both:

After your comment, I even had someone else take a look and they see it as well… I don’t know what to make of it???

    Thanks
