Logged out users being redirected to logon

  • i am not sure if there is a bug but logged out users are being redirected to logon page when the plugin is activated even though i have i have the site opened to ‘everyone’. Every public page re-directs to a custom ‘logon page’ that i created. However when i change the slug name of the page, the redirect then points to wp-login. Please assist.

    Hi @ockent,

    Do you have any other membership plugins installed?
    Make sure that you have the latest 2.0.35 version of the Ultimate member plugin installed.
    Can you please do a quick conflict test by disabling all plugins except Ultimate member and switching to the default theme and see if this issue goes away?
    Here is the doc on how to do a conflict test if you are not sure how to do it.

    Ultimate Member Version 2.0.35
    Ultimate Member – Google reCAPTCHA Version 2.0.2
    Ultimate Member – Social Login Version 2.0.6
    Ultimate Member – Terms & Conditions Version 2.0

    Those are the plugins that i have installed. I have already tried disabling all plugins except for ‘Ultimate Member’ and it still exhibit the same behavior.

    the issue i find is when i enable “Restricted Access to Posts for post/page”, so that the option can be available on pages, is when the re-direct bug comes into play. fyi, this happens even on pages where there are no explicit user restrictions.
