• Hi all,

    I use “All In One WP Security & Firewall” plugin and noticed an IP based in France logged in with my admin user name (?!)

    I’ve of course blacklisted this IP but when I tried to launch my daily backup, I got “The HTTP response test get a false http status (403)” from BackWPup.

    I tried to remove the blacklisted IP and no more error, I could launch my backup normally (?!)

    So it appears that IP (37.59.29.122) is related to the BackWPup plugin which is needed in order to launch backups. WHOIS on this IP returns an IP range that belong to OVH, a French provider. I use personally a different one.

    It is normal plugin behavior? Anyone else with the same situation?

    Thank you.

  • Hi lucsar

    I am getting this error on one of my sites, too – did you find a fix ?

    When I try to RUN NOW a job, I get :
    The HTTP response test get a false http status (410)

    And in the SETTINGS tab I see :
    Server self connect: The HTTP response test get a false http status (410)

    I have no other symptoms on my site. and I have similar setups on other sites, without issue.

    Googling doesn’t help, so it’s definitely a weird one !

    nope! always same problem for me at the time.

    As I launch my backup, I get a logged user with administrative right and always with the same external IP reported above.

    This user could be myself or any other user account with admin rights.

    Still waiting explanation here!

    About your 410 error code, check that you not have any blacklisted IP (if any security plugin installed)

    yes – I think maybe it’s a clash with a security plugin, but I double-checked my ‘banned-IP’ parameters and there’s nothing entered (that I could see).

    I’m still seeing this problem on one of my sites, and googling for info seems to only show this page ! Weird to think that we (lucsar and myself) are the only 2 people on the whole of the internet with this problem ! ??

    Daniel (plugin author) – would you have any clues as to how best troubleshoot this, please ?

    EDIT 20 mins later

    I forgot to mention that applying this fix that was suggested for a similar problem –

    adding the following line to wp-config.php file;
    define('ALTERNATE_WP_CRON', true);

    does work – my backups run OK – but this makes all my site URLs ugly –
