    Reg.: WP Security – Logged In Users page

    It shows incorrect information.

    Even after Force Logout, the user still appears.
    Even after hitting ‘Refresh Data’ the very next second; yet it still shows the same user.

    Hi, what happens when you log in? Do you have the same issue with your logins?

    Logging-in to WP-Admin is smooth.
    No issues; no errors; no warnings/alerts.

    This behaviour is observed after logging-in as seen in the [Logged In Users] tab under WP Security. Doesn’t seem to affect any working. No other issues.

    i checked the link. Seems like a similar thing happening but not in that quantum.

    We are just 2 users who work on maintenance and updation of our WordPress Site.

    Today i saw a strange thing happen in LOGGED-IN USERS under WP Security.
    I saw my colleague (UserB) logged in. And me too (say UserA)

    Below is what appeared in LOGGED-IN USERS
    ——————————————
    UserB userB-IP#1
    UserB userB-IP#2
    UserA userA-IP#1
    ——————————————

    I did a FORCE LOGOUT for [UserB userB-IP#2]
    It happened.
    Then, i hit REFRESH DATA.

    Then the foll. appeared in LOGGED-IN USERS
    ——————————————
    UserB userB-IP#1
    UserA userA-IP#1
    UserA userA-IP#1
    ——————————————
    viz. 2 instances with my username and the very same IPs

    Hi, are you using cloudflare or a similar service for your site?

    (could Cloudflare get activated by default? without our knowledge)

    The WP Security plugin LOGGED IN USERS worked well when we were on a Windows Shared Hosting Plan.
    I feel this might’ve begun after we migrated to a Linux VPS Plan. Not very sure though.

    I don’t think so. However you should check to make sure it is not activated for your site.

    I don’t think changing from Windows server to Linux server would cause this issue. Unless of course a unique settings in your server is causing this issue.

    Go to WP Security -> Settings -> Advanced Settings and play around with the different options from the drop down menu. Let me know if this helps in any way.

    Thank you for addressing the 2 doubts i had.
    Will check with the Hosting guys if we have Cloudflare.
