    Hello!

    Problem:

So, I’ve come to realize that in under “Logged in Users”, it does show users that are currently logged in, but it would show some users with the same login name, but listed down as more than one IP.

One of which is logged down as nearly over 50 times (Some IPs are of close range).

What I wish to know is why, and does this mean someone is in the system?

Hi, are you logging via a third party software with a different IP address? Is your server behind a firewall or proxy server?

Hi! Thanks for the quick response.

    I do use Cloudflare.

And some users log in using their Social Media Accounts.

Is the IP address that you see for a user also coming from Cloudflare as well?

Hi there. No. Even for my account it shows dozens of IPs.

Furthermore, I have the forced log out after 60 minutes enabled. But the same 170 or so logged in users as it says remains the same.

Even when I had forced logged out everyone from the site, I looked and it showed that people were still ‘logged in’…so I’m unsure of what’s going on.

Hi, did you also refreshed your browser to make sure all IP addresses were cleared within AIOWPS?

    Hi @jfantasybooks,

Even for my account it shows dozens of IPs

Are the IP addresses within the same subnet range?
Would they by any chance by in one of the CloudFlare ranges?

Hi. Cloudflare’s IP ranges are listed here: https://www.cloudflare.com/ips/

These IPs are not even close to those.

And yes, refreshing my browser does not work. It’s been like this for a while now.

I’m not sure why, and it’s a bit scary.

When I had made a new Admin account (swapped it), they were gone for a bit, too. But even if I use the old account (which is no longer admin level) and the new one, I only see the new one showing so many different IPs.

Is your “real” IP address listed as being logged-in in addition to the other IP addresses?

Can you provide a few examples of those unknown IP addresses please?

    Hi.

    https://whatismyipaddress.com/ip/54.237.37.226
    https://whatismyipaddress.com/ip/54.146.92.176
    https://whatismyipaddress.com/ip/54.227.80.230

Looking them up, they seem to be all from Amazon AWS.

I think I know where they are from. Would a tracking code by an amazon company leave such a result?

    Are you hosting on AWS?

Also what is your answer to one of my last questions:
Is your “real” IP address listed as being logged-in in addition to the other IP addresses?

Would a tracking code by an amazon company leave such a result?

What kind of tracking code are you referring to?

    Thread Starter jfantasybooks

    (@jfantasybooks)

No, my real IP is not being logged.

And I’m not hosting on AWS.

As for tracking code, it’s Alexa from alexa.com
