• Hello,

We are experiencing an issue where logged in users (Subscribers) appear to be logged out if they try going to the Home page.

We say ‘appear’ to be logged out because if the users go away from the Home page to another page, they can see that they are still logged in because their user icon shows in the navigation menu. BUT, if they go to the Home page, their icon changes to the logged out user icon, and so it appears they are logged out.

If we disable the plugin, everything is fine, but we would like to use the plugin, of course.

We tried to enable the option to ‘Don’t show the cached version for logged-in users’ but this did not work. Then, we tried to disable that option, but it does not matter. Logged in users still appear to be logged out if they try to go to the Home page.

So, we are not sure what to do at this point. Please help.

    Thank you,
    M

did you enable the “Logged-in User” option on the wp fastest cache settings?

    Emre,

Yes, I already explained in my message above that we tried to enable the Logged-in User option to ‘Don’t show the cached version for logged-in users’ — but this did not work.

So, what do you suggest? How to fix?

    Thank you,
    M

are you sure that your site works with the cache plugins? Please try another cache plugin to be sure.

    Hi Emre,

We are also using Autoptimize plugin.

If we disable WP Fastest Cache and just use Autoptimize, everything is fine for the logged in users.

Of course, we also want to use WP Fastest Cache to help with caching on our site.

So, what do you think? Any ideas why only the Home page is the problem?

We do have the very exact issue.

Trying Litespeed cache we have also the same issue. WP Super Cache works right, same Comet Cache.

Strange since Fastest Cache and Litespeed cache use mod_rewrite for cache but the other two PHP. Could that be related to the issue?

may be. I have no idea.

    Hi!
I experience the same problem as the threadstarter.

Logged in users appear to be logged out if they try going to the Home page.

If I disable your plugin, everything is fine. The Home page shows that the user is logged in. If I enable the plugin again, the user seems to be logged out although he is logged in.

Could you please advise what to do ?

    Thank you,
    bmcook

p.s. I also use autoptimize along with your plugin
