Updraftplus log says the backup successful in backing up and uploading the backed up files to dropbox- but there are no backup files in dropbox.

I’ve read the FAQs and have waited 2 hours. No sign of them.

So after the above, I’ve deleted every backup from dropbox, and permanently (there is conflicting advice in results first and second place on searching with the question of whether deleted files in dropbox contribute to the quota).

Have just attempted two further backups. Log says “Dropbox: quota usage: used=2327.3 MB, total=2048 MB, available=-279.3 MB
0077.889 (0) Dropbox: File upload expected to fail: ”

However that’s wrong. Dropbox account page shows Using 1.4 MB of 2 GB. Updraft isn’t seeing that, even when ‘scan remote folders’ is selected.

“UpdraftPlus is a WordPress plugin; as such, it relies on WordPress running and handing it the opportunity to do something; in particular, it relies upon WordPress’s scheduled task engine running properly.”
    Well it’s worked now.
