• Why do I need to login when Im the only one with acsess to the back end?I have ticked “allow administrators” Doesn’t that mean I dont have log in?!

Another issue it that its easy to pass this log in cause you can just write an url with a catalogue name in the address field and your in!

  • You should not be able just to enter a URL to get to a WordPress page.
If you can it may be because you have some sort of caching enabled on your site.
Do you have any caching plugins installed?

No, I don’t have any caching plugins installed. Another thing with this plugin is that you never have to log in again, that doesnt seem very good.

And why do I as an administrator need to login? I have checked “allow administrators”. I think I need to delete this plugin, if I do will everything go back to normal or does it leave traces of stuff I need to look for and delete`?

The cookie expires at the end of your session by default so you should be logged out if you quit your browser.

It does sound like you are having some compatibility issues.
What web hosting are you using as some hosts like WP Engine implement their own caching system which may cause problems?

You should just be able to uninstall.
Everything will go back to normal.

    Hi Ben,

My host is in Norway, one of the biggest, but I cant really understand why this should be a host issue. I’m experiencing this on any WAN and LAN I have tried. I just enter an url with a catalogue path and Im in. It doesnt log me out when I shut down the browser change ISPs or anything. No need to log in at all. I did however manage to get a prompt for login when I rebooted one time.

If what you are explaining is normal with some hosts u should perhaps make a step by step explanation on how to make your plug-in work and/or how to pick a host that supports your plug-in? Although I doubt anyone would switch hosts just because the plug in doesn’t work.

Is there a URL where I can check to see what happens for me?

I have already made a note about WP Engine hosting on the plugin page as that is currently the only host I have experience of where their server caching causes problems for this plugin.

I’ll also add a general note about caching plugins.
