log in confusion

I am very confused about my log in. I am admin on a church site so have a wordpress login with a user name and password. I am now attempting to set up a website in bluehost. I access wordpress through my bluehost dashboard but every now and again am asked to put in my wordpress password (I think it’s when it times out) but when I do it says that the password is incorrect. I don’t know why this is happening. Also when I am on a wordpress site and my mysite logo comes up at the top of the page, it takes me to the church website and not my own site. I am completely confused by how the two are or should be interacting. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks
