    Hello @sandeld

I am not a Loco Translate specialist but please check if the translations are assigned to the proper location. Go to the translations of Flexible Checkout Fields. Find the “Relocate” tab and change the location to “Author” or other. Then check if it helped.

I changed it to “Author” and “Custom,” and neither of those settings worked.

I cleared the cache and tested in private windows for both attempts.

Just to see if Loco Translate was somehow blocking itself or FCF from natively being translated, I deactivated Loco Translate, and all the fields were still being displayed in English.

I’ll also contact Loco support, but since the problem seems to appear and correct by activating and deactivating FCF, they’ll probably point it back to you anyways.

Heh. The Loco Translate forum has a “sticky” thread that they will not support individual requests for individual plugins, and already informs us to ask ‘the other’ theme or plugin developer.

So, here are their overall FAQs for strings not being translated, and here is the FAQ specifically for translations not working.

Perhaps there’s something in there that your plugin is, or is not, doing?

    Hello @sandeld

If our plugin is active then the form shows translations of the labels entered in its settings. If the plugin is not active then the form shows translations of the labels from WooCommerce. So deactivating our plugin solves the issue because then the translations are loaded from another source. But that is still a job for a translation plugin.
We need to take a closer look at it. Please contact us using this form (use Pre-sale Question).

Your support page requires me to have an active subscription, but when I click on “login” or “resubscribe,” there is no place for me to create an account. So I can’t submit anything until that happens.

    Hello @sandeld

Please use the Pre-sale Question option as mentioned in the previous message. This makes it possible to send a question without creating an account.

Sorry. Of course, you are correct.

I have submitted the ticket on your website.

I am marking this topic as resolved because we answered on a paid support.
It seems that Loco Translate does not support translation of variable strings and these are field labels. I edited these labels and entered their names in German.
