I’m creating an ecommerce using woocommerce and shopengine. I’m using Loco Translate to translate some strings from some plugins, it worked correctly in all but not in shop engine, on the Plugins>ShopEngine page just below the translated language area this message “Custom translations may not work without System translations installed” appears, can anyone help me?

    Dear @camarinhoarthur ,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

In our development environment, string translation using Loco Translate is functioning correctly. You can view this video for further clarification: https://d.pr/v/L72iOl. Please ensure that you have configured the Loco Translate plugin properly. When adding the language, select “Custom” as the location, as shown in this screenshot: https://prnt.sc/_H4392Y59wWb. Additionally, if you are using any caching plugin on your site, please clear both site and browser caches. Consider disabling the caching plugin temporarily and then rechecking the issue. This should hopefully resolve your problem.

Let us know if the issue is solved. If not, I’ll have a quick look and provide you with a solution ASAP.

    Best Regards,

    Hello, thank you for replying.

I’m using Loco Translate to translate many plugins. All of them are working well, but shopengine it’s not. I’m not using any cache system in my site. I recorded a video desmontrating my problem (https://youtu.be/5OP9cWqnnSc), the string “If you have a coupon code, please apply it below.” appears on Loco Translate on both shopengine and woocommerce strings list, i tried to translate both of them and its not working.

    Dear @camarinhoarthur,

I hope you are doing well, and thank you for sharing the video. The message ‘Custom translations may not work without System translations installed’ appears as a reminder that Loco Translate translations will only work for the system’s selected language. For further clarification, please watch this video – https://d.pr/v/YXlUEu. Following the video’s instructions should resolve your issue.

    Kind Regards,
