    Hello,

I use Loco Translation and would like to translate plugin Login with Ajax. I asked also on support forum of Login with Ajax, but nobody answered me so far. I already translated another plugins and with no problem. I would just like to know where is the problem. When I try to add another language it tells me that there is a problem in File system permissions for Login With Ajax:

    plugins/login-with-ajax/langs/login-with-ajax-sq_SQ.mo
    MO file not found

    plugins/login-with-ajax/languages
    Folder not found

Other potential issues with Login With Ajax:
Plugin does not declare a “Text Domain” .. Loco has guessed “login-with-ajax”
Plugin has a strange POT file name (login-with-ajax-fr_FR.pot). A better name would be “login-with-ajax.pot”
sq_SQ is not an official WordPress language
fi_FI is not an official WordPress language
af_ZA is not an official WordPress language
li_LI is not an official WordPress language
ar_SA is not an official WordPress language
cn_CN is not an official WordPress language

The problem is that currently there is under template this file ,,login-with-ajax-fr_FR.pot” so there is as a default French (after I try to add another language). There are also missing sentences for translation.

Do you have an idea where is the problem and how I can fix it? It would help me hugely.

    Thanks a lot!

    Marie

This plugin has some localisation problems, but it is translatable. Many of the warnings you see may not be relevant to you.

Regarding the actual problem you’re experiencing:

The problem is that currently there is under template this file ,,login-with-ajax-fr_FR.pot” so there is as a default French (after I try to add another language).

login-with-ajax-fr_FR.pot isn’t a template. It’s a wrongly named PO file. It should be login-with-ajax-fr_FR.po. The authors should fix that.

I don’t follow from this description what you’re actually doing and what is failing. Are you working in French? If you can’t add another language, what is the error message you get and at what point does it appear?

Yes, they’re wrongly named I’m not sure how that happened… but we’re already aware of this and will be releasing an update any day now, and we’ll be regenerating all the po/mo files.

Meantime, as @timwhitlock said you just need to rename that French file to .po and it’ll work.
