Locked out of /wp-admin/ after editing Discussion

  • That sounds like a faulty theme or plugin. Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    When I perform this SQL statement all comes back to normal:

    UPDATE wetcoast_site.wp_42_options SET option_value = ‘0’ WHERE wp_42_options.option_id = 49;

    Will try the plugin and theme step.
