Locked out of WordPress Admin

  • Hi all,

    In trying to make my website secure, I replaced http with https in the url, which resulted in getting locked out of wordpress admin.

    As previously suggested, I have tried to use FileZilla to connect to the server and change my “wp-config.pnp” but I haven’t been able to authenticate the login. I am guessing this might be because the person who created the website never created an FTP (and I am guessing not a cPanel either…)

    I am a complete novice and only learned about the above information today, so keep that in mind.

    Is there any other way to get back into the wordpress admin without using at FTP? can you use cPanel without having set it up beforehand? What can I do?
