Locked out of site after logging out

Everything works fine (dashboard and front end) until I log out. At that point I get the following error message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method WP_Error::remove() in /home3/xxxx/public_html/xxxx/wp-content/plugins/loginizer/init.php on line 619

After that, I can no longer access the site and have to rename the plugin via ftp/file manager to regain access to site. Please advise. Thanks
